Jaisal Shah received the prestigious National Child Award for Exceptional Achievement 2017 for Sports: Chess on 14th November, 2017 from the Respected President Of India Shri Ramnath Kovindji at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi. Jaisal Shah was just 7 years old and the only youngest Kutchhi to receive such a National Award. He is the youngest from Maharashtra to ever receive this Award. 16 kids from all over India were selected for the National Award for various fields. Jaisal Shah was one of them.
Till date Jaisal has won 95 trophies in various level Chess tournaments.
