BHUJ: Prag Mahal, the royal palace of Kutch rulers which suffered heavy damage in 2001 earthquake, is all set to get its glory back.
The 19th century palace in Darbargadh area was the setting for famous Kutch Darbar in pre-Independence era. The burning candles fitted into the nine massive chandeliers made up of Belgium glass which lit up the main hall. In fact, they were the only source of light then. Similar glitter will soon be back as the first phase of restoration and repairing is nearing completion.
