Little Rann of Kutch, situated 180 kilometres from Ahmedabad, has been introduced to the digital world. 10,000 families are now connected to the internet via a single white van that's powering a remote wi-fi connection.

Located in the salt desert, these families work in extreme conditions for eight months straight. While workers mine the ground without electricity, children attend classes in tiny mud huts. And since their communities are scattered across the region, bringing internet connectivity wasn't an easy task.
