| Monsoon intensifies over Saurashtra, Kutch |

RAJKOT: Light to moderate rains lashed many districts of Saurashtra and Kutch region as the monsoon became more active over the state on Friday. While Rapar in Kutch recorded 182 mm of rain overnight, Dhrol taluka in Jamnagar received 89 mm rains, highest during the day on Friday.
While the weather department has forecast light to moderate rain or thundershowers at most places in the districts of Gujarat region, Saurashtra, Kutch and in Diu, Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli, heavy to very heavy rains are expected at isolated places in the same regions for the next few days.
