Bhuj which was the capital of Kutch is renowned as architectural treasure. The embroidery of Kutch is famous. It developed to be a big centre of trade, arts and crafts during the reign of the prince.
Bhuj is home to fusion of eastern and western architecture and it is said that Ramsingh Malam who spent years in Holland learnt Venetian chandelier and glass making techniques. When he came back he trained the local craftsmen this art.
Kutch region is famous for variety of craft like Roghan painting, wooden laquerware, leather embroidery, embroidery on silk sari and silver engraving.
